Harvest Moon DS Cute is a spin off from Harvest Moon: DS. It is, essentially, the female equivalent of Harvest Moon DS, but with many glitches and bugs being fixed in this remake, an added character called Skye,

Plot

The game starts out with the Harvest Goddess and her Harvest Sprites standing over your sleeping self discussing what to do with you. The Harvest Goddess says she promised your mother that she'd make you work. However, she concludes, "...Oh well! I'll just tell the kid's mother I can't do it!"

A voice from above shakes the room. "WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?" The Sprites gasp. "It's the Harvest King!"

The King scolds The Harvest Goddess for being lazy and not keeping her promises, suggesting that she may be getting old.

"O- Old?!? My age has nothing to do with it, you... big baldy!!" She yells. The ground shakes again.

"BIG BALDY?!" the Harvest King yells. "I'll show you what happens to people who talk back!" The screen turns white, and then it shows the scene again, this time with the Harvest Godess made of stone.

The Sprites yell at the king, calling him a big baldy again, one saying, "Yeah, You Big Baldy! You heard me! B-A-L-D-Y!" This angers the Harvest King and he makes all the sprites disappear. The Harvest King says, "Uh - Oh. It seems I got a little carried away..."

The player then awakens, and is informed that because you have been lazy, you must take care of the farm and find all 101 Harvest Sprites to free the Harvest Goddess.

Gameplay

This game is set in Forget-Me-Not-Valley; the characters are mostly the same as in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. In this game, you start off with all the basic tools, and a necklace. You are not given any animal barns or house upgrades; you must build them by employing Gotz over the phone (another added feature in the Harvest Moon DS games).

Renovating the farm means you must remove all the weeds from the farmland, crush the rocks littering the ground, and use an axe to chop up the tree stumps. You must also till the land and plant crops for profit, and keep animals to sell their produce. You can also grow trees, and build basements to plant crops of all seasons in. Mainly, though, your mission is to find the Harvest Sprites and make a successful farm.

Also, in this game, it possible to court a husband and get married.
